Isms

In our house we have such things as Jackisms and Carolineisms. Things that the kids say that is a bit off center from the real thing. For example, when Jack was little he had a hard time saying Vacation, so he changed it to Macation. The lyrics to Jesus Loves Me became, "Jesus loves me, YES I know!"

Caroline has had her fair share too. Exercise is Orcasize (although I don't like the connection with a whale). Last night she had somewhat of an ism. She loves to make up songs, which I believe is a gene that was passed on but that's another story. She was, for some weird reason, making up a song about Obi Won Kenobi (Sorry for all you fans out there if I spelled his name wrong). I'm surmising it was because they're including Star Wars bobbleheads at McDonald's with the Happy Meals. Anyway, she sang this complete song about him. When Jdhteach came in, he sang a song about "Old Ben Kenobi". Caroline looked at him with the utmost disgust, placed her hands on her hips and said,

"DAAAADDDDDY. It's Obi ONE Kenobi, because there's only ONE of him!"

She bounced off and proceeded to sing the song again and again and again.
