Taking down Christmas ornaments is so depressing!

Okay. I've been telling myself, 'Today's the day to take down Christmas ornaments" now for 4 days. Each time, I find something else to do instead. :) I find it so totally depressing to take them down for several reasons. A) it means that Christmas is over and the kids stop being nice to each other for a couple of weeks, B) it means in less than one week I've got to go back to work, C) it means I have to do it by myself and that's depressing enough. Of course I've got Sleeping Beauty, aka Caroline, helping me and she's pretty happy about it. She likes to help which is good I guess, but with her it takes triple the time because she's VERY careful.

Oh well, in a couple of days I'll be back teaching and thankful that I'm not teaching Saturday school until the end of March. Once I get back in the swing of things I'll find my rhythm again and in no time at all it'll be Spring Break.

So Happy New Year everybody. Eat a lot of cabbage (health) and Black-eyed peas (luck), I know I"ll be eating a nice heaping of each (I need all the help I can get!).
