Don't Look a Gift Horse in the Mouth

Weather in Texas this time of year is just about the same: HOT, HOT, HOT. Usually the joke in August is that the weather man can tape his segment when dealing with temperatures and what to expect and just play it over and over until September (it'll be the same: Sunny with a high of 100-105 with a heat index of 110< with an ozone action day of orange).

However, within the last week we've had some unusual weather: Rain and low temperatures. It's saying something when 96 degrees feels cool! I just checked the weather for today and saw on the 5 day outlook that there's a chance of rain beginning tomorrow and stretching through Monday - highs in the upper 80's. Now that will probably be a muggy high 80's, but like I said, "Never look a gift horse in the mouth."

I agree. Cooler weather is better than 100+, even if muggy! Though anyone having to practice flag football outdoors might not agree . . .
