"Twas the night before school started, and all through the house, not a child was stirring not even a mouse (I hope). The backpacks were all hung by the back door with care, including the supplies stuffed way down there. The children were snuggled in their beds, while they laid awake from the nerves in their heads."
That's the way it's playing at my house. Jack finally went to sleep after checking, double checking, and triple checking that all of his supplies were in his backpack. Caroline's just so darn excited that school's starting she can't sleep. I'm hoping she hurries up and drifts off so we don't have the proverbial, "I HATE Mondays!" routine.
I"m finally off to bed after making lunches and double checking backpacks. So to everyone who starts tomorrow...Good Luck! I'm sure we'll all be cranky by the end of the day tomorrow.
