Tonight, Caroline does the regular, "It's time for bed" procrastination. She plays with her Barbies, even though they've been there all day. So she comes into my bedroom and the following conversation ensues.
Caroline: "Mom can you put these barrettes in my Barbie's hair?"
Mom: "Sure." and I take the two Barbies. "If Bathroom Barbie is going to stay out of the Bathroom, she needs to have clothes on."
Caroline: "No she doesn't."
Mom: "Yes she does."
Caroline: "But I can't find any clothes for her."
Mom: "they're in the closet in the toy room. We'll get them tomorrow. So Barbie needs to enjoy her last night in the buff."
Jason who just got home from the hospital loves the conversation. Not just because it's funny, but because he's here, and not listening to it over the phone.
Caroline takes her Barbies and bounces off to her room. You see, whenever she gets a new Barbie, she promptly undresses them and uses them as bath time toys in the bathtub. After she's tired of playing with them in the bathtub, she'll bring them out and dress them. Periodically though, we'll find a Bathroom Barbie laying on the floor in her room.

At least she did not throw it you to where it bounces off of you then point to where it landed and expects you to get it.
