Welcome Back, Welcome Back, Welcome Back

Today was the first day back for teachers in Texas. Official school begins next Monday the 25th. The first day back can be very mind-numbing, depending on wh your principal is. For example, my husband and his leadership team came up with their theme at the end of last year. Its "Groovin into (something can't remember)". Well, he has this AWESOME outfit and persona for the whole thing. He's coming in as Mr. Groov E. Shooz, it's hillarious. He conducted his morning staff development dressed that way (as was his Leadership team) along with 70's music. Move over to my school this morning. We sat in the library and played a game using clickers. We sat ALL morning long, and when the lesson was over, we sat somemore. It gives me a good perspective on what my students go through.
