Here I Come To Save The DAY!!!!!

This morning, I was excited to sleep in. Jason had to get up early to go do Saturday School to try and make up some of the money that he'll be docked due to his hospitalizations this year. He was really good about being quiet, but I'm a light sleeper (It's what I refer to as Mommy radar). Anyway, after he left I went back to sleep but was aware that Jack was up watching cartoons. After a little bit the phone rang and it was Jason looking for a set of keys that were given to him so he could open the building and turn on some lights. He had a key to get in, but no keys to turn on lights or anything like that. They were not in his drawer here at home and that is when it became clear that he was panicking. Hey, I would be too there were a lot of keys on the key ring. I suggested some places to look and he hung up and went to look in those places. A little while later he called back and said that the keys weren't anywhere. So I told him that I would Caroline up and the kids and I would come up to the school to look. I have found that when panicking (and I've done it a lot) people tend to scan places and not look. So since he was panicking and I wasn't I would be able to look for the keys.

I piled the kids in the car and after stopping for some breakfast we traveled to where Jason was to help him look for the keys. I felt so bad for Jason. He sounded so defeated when I talked to him. When we got to the school I went into Jason's office and sat down at his desk. I looked through all of his drawers but no keys. I grabbed his computer bag to look in the pockets (because that's where he said he'd put them). Upon opening the left, front pocket I discovered the keys, exactly where he'd put them. Of course they were underneath a stack of Post-It notes and the lanyard they were on was a navy blue color. So it made sense that he'd miss them. He was very relieved after that.
