I was right, it could've been worse.

Today is day 3 of Jason in ICU. From what I can gather, they're hoping he'll be on a regular floor by the end of the day...maybe. No body is very solid on an answer. They're going to do something that has a really medical name - a bronchcoscopy or something like that. They're basically going to put a suction tube into his lungs and suck out some of the stuff that is in there from the pneumonia. They'll then analyze it to see what type of bacteria they're dealing with. They're 99.9% sure it's a bacteria because Jason's been doing better. To the average person it doesn't look like he's doing better, but it's the little things. He's coherent and he's cracking jokes. If it wasn't a bacteria, they said, he wouldn't be doing as well. In fact, with the number of pneumonia pockets in his lungs if it were fungal there probably isn't anything they could have done.

I honestly think he's doing better. It's slow going, but I think he's getting better.
