Trampoline - An Olympic Sport?
My husband and I are watching the Olympics right now. We just finished watching the beach volleyball game and that was awesome. But now they've switched to the Trampoline competition. I'd seen it the other day, so wasn't too shocked when they announced it, but Jason has never heard of it. He looked at me and said, "Trampoline is an Olympic sport?" I agree, it's kind of a reach. But listening to the announcers you'd think it is a regular sport. What next: Bathtub racing?

I know it was a sport the last time around. Not sure about the time before that. It's kind of crazy. They're doing away with Softball after this Olympics, and If I read correctly in 2012 they're going to have some X-Games type events with bmx bikes & skateboarding
