The cracks are beginning to show.

The kids have done REALLY well this week not having daddy around. Originally they were told that he might be home in 2 days, but it's stretched into a week, and will continue at least another week. Jack had golf camp all this week, so that kept his mind off of it. My mom (on the day she took the kids) and myself the rest of the time let Caroline hit golf balls while Jack was in camp. She had a blast! Other than that, the family has really pitched in to help keep the kids busy. Lately though, as it's become apparent to both children that daddy is still not home, the cracks have been showing. Caroline's meltdowns are more frequent, and Jack's pestering has increased. The last time Jason was in the hospital was for 4 days. It took Jack 3 weeks to get back to blue that time. By the time Jason comes home, he'll have been gone 2 weeks. There's no telling how long it'll take him to pull it together.
